1B.Sc Nursing4 Years

  • Pass in H.S.C. / Equivalent and 45 aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. (Sc & ST – 40 % aggregate)

  • Age Limit for Admission – A Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the B.Sc (Nursing) degree Course.

2ANM2 Years

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.

  • The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.

  • Student shall be medically fit.

  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.

  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.


NOTE: Simultaneous attendance in other courses is not permitted. It will be applicable to all the above courses.
3GNM3 Years1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.

  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.

  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.

  • Registered ANM with pass mark.

  • For foreign nationals
  • The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above


Reservation

  • For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same
    as prescribed for each nursing programme. Note: A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%.

  • 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

  • Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy
    Note: Quotas shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it..


3. Admission of students shall be once in a year.
4. Students shall be medically fit.
5. Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.
