One Beat Paramedical Institute(OBPI) is established in the year 2016 in Bhira village of district Lakhimpur Kheri,U.P. OBPI is managed by Dasmesh Charitable Hospital society, Bhira with the prime objective to provide best education in the paramedical. Diploma courses to promote clinical education, research and development activities.
The institute has the vision to produce optometrists and operation theatre technicians competent in their respective fields who will be able to work under competent surgeons and provide the best helping hands in all clinical scenarios related to the field.
The institute has its own spectacular buildings with spacious well-equipped sophisticated laboratories, classrooms and other facilities as per the norms and standards of UPSMFC(UP state medical faculty council),LUCKNOW.
The college has started Diploma in optometry (D.Opt) and Diploma in operation theatre technician(D.O.T.T.) programme in 2016 following the norms provided by UPSMFC ,and has been successfully running both the courses under it’s roof since
then.
The college is situated 60 km away from the district headquarter Lakhimmpur Kheri and about 90 km away from the state capital,Lucknow.The population of the Tehsil inclusive of the surrounding villages is around 25000.
The institution is housed in more than 1 lac square feet of covered area with spacious lecture theatres, audio-visual aids, computer labs, very well equipped laboratories for paramedical studies with the latest equipment, spacious and well- stocked library, multipurpose hall, common rooms with indoor games, open lush lawns with a clean and green surrounding. Education since times has been an instrument for ransformation and intellectual growth. A strong educational background and a healthy environment help in molding a student’s personality and prepares them to face the challenges of life.
Vision and Mission- To provide affordable quality education to students from rural India taking into account their potential, while equipping students with knowledge and skills in their chosen stream, inculcate values, identify hidden talents, provide opportunities for students to realize their full potential and thus shape them into future clinical and surgical assistants ,and above all compassionate human beings.
The Diploma in Optometry is a health care course, where students learn to deal with the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system. One can also define it as the science of eye equipment (includingcontact lenses and spectacles), which is imbued with the idea of improving the vision and removing all kinds of obstacles. The Visual disorders being one of the common problems of all ages, it is essential to ensure advancement in scientific technology and preventive measures for which Optometry is the solution.
Candidate must have passed 12 th with physics,chemistry and biology

With 35% marks in intermediate exams.(from UP board or any other recognized
board).
Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31 st December of the admission year.There is no maximum age limit for admission.

Merit-based admission process.
Marks scored by students in board examinations are take into consideration. Seats are allotted to deserving candidates based on marks scored by them.
This programme prepares aspirants to work in the operation theatre as a competent reliable technicians among the other team members of a healthcare department, under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and Technical persons in their delivery of patient care. They learn the utilization of numerous diagnostic equipment for example Ventilators, monitors, Defibrillators, C-arm etc., and also patient assessment abilities.By the end of the 2 years course,the students get well versed with assisting all types of general surgeries,obstretics and gynecology surgeries,also intricate surgeries like those in ophthalmology.Thus they come out with a flying colors,especially red and green !!

Anatomy and Physiology laboratory of our college is designed to provide a foundation in human biology. This includes a familiarity with the basic anatomical and histological organization of the human body and its physiology. Students will learn how the various organs of the body interact with one another and how they contribute to the overall physiology of the body.
The College has a well-equipped Computer Laboratory with highly configured computer systems, with printers. All are connected in a centralised LAN.The computer lab is provided to the students for class work, project work, power point presentations and internet surfing to keep them updated for facing the competitive world.
Library occupies a place of pride in OBPI and is an essential component of the institute’s outstanding education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are permitted to make use of library facilities.
A lab for OT technician course students which is equipped with surgical instruments,instruction charts for autoclaving and sterilization etc which are the procedures of paramount importance in operation theatre.
